An introduction to Lymphatic Drainage, through Self-Massage and Kundalini Yoga

Glow and Flow is a workshop designed to help you better understand your lymphatic system, support your wellbeing, and reconnect with yourself through mindful touch and movement. Come as you are and leave with practical tools to support your body and wellbeing.

In this collaborative workshop, Marta from Artemisia Holistics will guide you through an introduction to the lymphatic system and the art of gentle dry body brushing. You’ll learn what the lymphatic system actually does, why it matters for fluid balance, immunity, skin health and relaxation, and how light, intentional touch can support its natural flow.

Alongside this, Izza will guide you through a Kundalini Yoga practice designed to support lymphatic flow, stimulate circulation, and awaken the body’s natural energy. Through movement and breathwork, this practice helps release stagnation, encourage detoxification, and leave you feeling lighter, clearer, and more energised. Gentle, regular self-massage and mindful movement can help you feel more connected to your body while supporting relaxation, circulation, and overall wellbeing. Everyone is welcome, whatever your level of experience.

If you are completely new to self-massage or Kundalini Yoga, this workshop is designed to be accessible and supportive. In this workshop you will:

-Explore how mindful self-massage and movement can support relaxation and body connection.

-Have a general idea of what the lymphatic system is and why it matters for your overall wellbeing.

-Experience the correct depth, direction, and pace for lymph-friendly touch. -Learn a simple step-by-step dry body brushing routine to use at home.

-Experience a Kundalini Yoga practice using movement and breathwork to stimulate circulation and support lymphatic flow. -Support the body’s natural detoxification processes.

-Help release both physical and energetic blockages.

-Contribute to strengthening your immune system.

-Restore balance, vitality, and a sense of inner flow.

Marta

Marta is a holistic facialist and massage therapist based in Edinburgh. Her work goes beyond surface-level skincare and physical tension release, offering treatments that support the body’s natural healing processes and help counter the effects of stress. Through gentle, mindful, massage-centred facials and holistic bodywork, she creates self-care rituals that soothe the nervous system, boost lymphatic flow, ease muscle tension, and nourish the skin, helping clients feel grounded, renewed, and radiant.

Izza
